How you'll make an impact in this role

• Deliver exceptional direct nursing care by aligning your clinical practice with established organizational protocols to ensure the highest standards of safety and patient comfort.

• Drive optimal recovery outcomes by diligently implementing patient care plans, executing medical orders, and adapting interventions as health statuses evolve.

• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration as the primary coordinator across medical disciplines, ensuring the entire healthcare team remains seamlessly aligned on patient needs.

• Advocate for patient safety through the real-time, accurate documentation and communication of critical condition changes to physicians and team members.

• Facilitate seamless patient transitions by proactively assessing discharge requirements and collaborating with the healthcare team to support long-term healing at home.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Prior Critical Care experience in the ICU
