Senior Full-Stack Engineer
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll be at the center of scaling up our system that helps law firms become better businesses, working on high-visibility projects as we expand into more Fintech workflow opportunities. This role is tailor-made for someone ready to show what they can do, eager to push their technical skills to the limit, and excited about building tech with bulletproof reliability for our customers. You’ll significantly influence the Fintech products we create, the architecture we use, and the processes we build as we evolve from a startup into a scale-up. This transition is critical, and we’re looking for someone with the expertise and insight to help us scale efficiently and sustainably, bringing best practices for performance, reliability, and security as we grow. We don't want job seekers; we want company builders. LeanLaw is looking for people with the tenacity and entrepreneurial spirit required for a Series A stage startup to facilitate second-stage scale.
Here’s the job:
- Build and scale end-to-end applications in .NET and modern web frameworks, focusing on performance, scalability, and intuitive user experiences..
- Take ownership of design decisions, from database structure and API design to frontend architecture, ensuring solutions are robust, resilient, and highly maintainable.
- Help build out our distributed system infrastructure, developing tech that doesn’t just meet industry standards but raises them. Dive deep into performance optimization, security, and data integrity in a cloud-native environment.
- Scale our product as we expand our user-base, integrate new workflow capabilities, and drive better insights through our advanced reporting and analytics.
What good looks like:
- You’re energized by big challenges, ready to solve problems head-on, and you know how to communicate well and collaborate effectively cross-functionally and with peers.
- You know how to thrive in a scaling startup environment developing a SaaS software product, preferably in the B2B space.
- You can build resilient web applications in a microservices architecture in your sleep.
- You don’t tolerate buggy code and have strong experience with automated testing.
- Your intellectual curiosity gets the best of you; you can’t let go of big problems until you solve them.
Non-negotiable skills:
- You’ve been a full-stack developer for 4+ years with a solid background in .NET and modern SPA frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
- You are fluent in automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, jest, xUnit, etc.
- You’re an expert building RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- You build features end-to-end, from the browser to the database, and have opinions on how it should work.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with financial, legal, or accounting products.
- Experience stitching fintech into workflow products.
- Experience building and deploying infrastructure in Azure.
- Experience with distributed observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor, Sentry, etc.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams.
- Salary range $125,000-140,000 based on experience.
- Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
- Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
- Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
- Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
- Training & Development
- Work From Home - Full Time
