Assistant Preschool Teacher
Small Blessings Preschool (Hyde Park United Methodist Church) – Tampa, FL
Do you love working with young children and want a role that’s joyful, flexible, and rewarding? Small Blessings Preschool is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our Older 2’s classroom. We serve children ages 2–5 in a warm, play-based, faith-centered environment where kids feel loved, engaged, and excited to learn.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide support in preschool classrooms (ages 2–5) during our morning program
- Assist lead teachers with routines, activities, and transitions
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For:
- Joyful, caring personality with a heart for young children
- Dependable and flexible team player
- Experience with children (preschool, childcare, nannying, camp, etc.) preferred
- High school diploma required; CDA/45-hour childcare training a plus
Job Type: Part-time (school year schedule)
Pay: $15–$20/hour (based on role & experience)
