Are you seeking a growth opportunity as a Service Technician? Do you seek a company in which to continue your Service Technician career? Do you want to work daily in the Margate, FL area? If so, Blossman Gas & Appliance would like you to submit your application online for consideration toward an open GAS SERVICE TECHNICIAN position at our location in Margate. With more than 85 branch locations, Blossman Gas is the largest independent propane company in America. Due to our company's culture, these positions experience little turnover for those who want to work locally and for an established company.
Our Service Technicians regularly install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, as well as install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment such as water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, generators, and more. This is a great position for someone who has prior propane, appliance or fireplace installation/repair, or HVAC experience and would enjoy working locally. The position requires customer service skills, occasional on-call duty, and being a contributing member of a team environment. 3-5 years of experience as a Propane Service Professional or from a related industry such as HVAC or Fireplace Installation is preferred. Possessing a valid CDL w/hazmat endorsement is helpful. There is a lot of growth potential with this particular opening and our company. A strong commitment to safety, consistent with company policy, is a must. Competitive, hourly pay will depend on prior experience.
