Private Flood Product Analyst ( {{city}})
The Private Flood Product Analysts role is to analyze data and assist in the development of strategies to sell Private Flood policies and manage Private Flood portfolios. This includes researching market trends, analyzing data, presenting findings, and developing proposals to write Private Flood business. The Private Flood Product Analyst is also responsible for proactively generating and compiling reports based on his or her findings, complete with recommendations. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help develop and maintain profitable Private Flood programs.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Research market trends.
- Analyze loss trends and identify profitable segments of business.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Regional Sales Managers.
- Present findings to the Executive team to determine direction.
Product Management
- Coordinate with team members and assist by providing exhibits and findings from analysis.
- Monitor and report on the profitability of Private Flood products.
- Assist in managing exposure to ensure agreed upon aggregate limits are not exceeded.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis when needed.
- Forms control, updates and inventory
- Filing preparation, support, and response to objections from regulators
- Audit review and support
- Product development and management
- Product coordination, development and testing on multiple systems
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification
- College degree in the field of risk management, finance, business administration, or mathematics preferred; or 5 years related work experience.
Knowledge & Experience
- Ability to analyze data and loss trend.
- Ability to develop written proposals.
- Working knowledge PC operating systems, including Windows 7 and 10.
- Extensive experience with core software applications, including Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word, Visio and Access.
