POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Business Optimization plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and supporting strategic initiatives a focus group of communities. This position is responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement, deploying time activated tactics, and implementing innovative solutions that align with the portfolio’s key desired results, financial objectives, and growth strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall portfolio efficiency.
- Partner with support services to evaluate current practices and implement best-in-class solutions.
- Utilize data analytics and business intelligence to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
- Lead turnaround efforts for operational performance where appropriate.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Support Business Optimization team leaders in the development and execution of strategic plans.
- Drive alignment of business processes with organizational goals to achieve measurable and timely outcomes
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure performance metrics are delivered on time, above KDR’s, and with measurable ROI.
Change Management & Innovation
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Lead management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies with BOG communities.
Cross - Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and HR to optimize business practices and deliver on performance objectives
- Mentor and develop teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and accountability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing insights and recommendations.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics to evaluate both ongoing optimization and turnaround outcomes.
- Regularly report outcomes and progress to SVP of Operations.
- Ensure data-driven decision-making across the portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- 5–10 years of progressive muti site leadership experience in business operations, process improvement, or strategic planning.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and delivering measurable business results.
- Strong expertise in project management, MS Excel or other related applications
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
