The JOB:

Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records group/member payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Assists with chargebacks and credit card inquiries.
• Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
• Prepares group events billing.
• Process accounts and incoming payments.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.
• AR report detailing accounts receivable status.
• Update guest/member billing information.
• Provide other clerical support if necessary.
• Ensure payments are received in a timely manner
• Responsible for handling payment inquiries.

You own it if you have...

• 2-3 years AR experience in Accounting, preferably in a Hospitality specific role
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Preferred bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or hospitality or related accounting experience
• Strong Excel and MS Office Skills
• Physical Demands:
• Remain in stationary position throughout work shift
• Ability to sit for long periods of time at a desk
• Mental Demands:
• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills both verbal and written
• Attention to detail
• Able to work independently and follow directives from leadership
• Exemplary customer service skills

Salary Description

$24.00 per hour
