Fitness Attendant
- Answer phones and understand the phone system.
- Make appointments for both spa and fitness appointments.
- Greet members (with surnames) and guest entering the facility.
- Check in all members.
- Sign up members for classes.
- Use appropriate log books.
- Confirm appointments.
- Ring up member services.
- Distribute towels.
- Picks up loose weights, bands, balls, towels and other left articles.
- Assist members with needs (channel changes, equipment waiting lists, product/retail sales).
- Inform members about services/products.
- Check machines for dust, damage and any malfunctions.
- Cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment.
- Answers questions about machines and exercises.
- Performs body fat analysis and blood pressure checks.
- Tactfully enforce Addison Reserve Country Club/Fitness Center policies.
- Be familiar with all opening and closing procedures.
- Provide administrative assistance when needed.
- Pull/file daily sheets for fitness.
- Be aware of all activities in fitness center/kid’s activity center.
- Be knowledgeable of fitness/spa menu.
- Report to shift dressed appropriately and on time.
- Attend meetings as required.
• Possess some computer knowledge.
• Be able to speak English clearly and concisely.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Needs a flexible schedule to work day, night, weekends and holidays
• Be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Be able to lift 10 lbs. Education & Work Experience Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience, floor attendant/front desk at country club or in hospitality industry.
