Director of Foundation Operations

Summary
Manage a staff of four and supervise the non-fundraising operations of the Lee Health Foundation. In collaboration with Lee Health's financial services, oversee all aspects of the Foundation's financial management, including capital requests, annual budgets, invoice processing, monthly reconciliations, account creation, bank relationships, deposits, and annual financial audits.
Additionally, manage the Foundation's customer relationship management software (Blackbaud) and all related software systems. This includes responsibilities for training, access control, report development, and ongoing learning and improvement. Create JavaScripts for events and online donations and oversee Financial Edge for payment processing.
Supervise elements of prospect research, prospect management, and the use of artificial intelligence to enhance donor identification and cultivation. Establish and maintain operating policies and procedures for the Foundation's operations as needed. Oversee all aspects of gift entry and management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GASB accounting standards.
Maintain the Foundation's "back office," which includes mail processing, monitoring the central phone line, processing gift receipts, and ensuring the overall welfare of the Foundation. Foster strong relations across the Foundation team to support fundraising operations.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degreerequired, Masters degree preferred.
Experience: 5 years of relevant experience required. Understanding and appreciation of financial management and database utilization.

Other: Team player working across the health system to maintain donor integrity and ensure expenditures are aligned with donor wishes. Provides support to the fundraising operation.
