Lawn and Pest Technician

Now Hiring: Residential Lawn & Pest Technician
Location: Central Florida | Full-Time Position

Hogan Irrigation Lawn & Pest , a division of Team Hogan, is expanding and looking for a motivated and reliable Residential Lawn & Pest Technician to manage and grow our residential fertilization and pest control program.

This individual will also provide support to our lead commercial technician while building and maintaining a high-quality residential route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage residential fertilization and pest control applications

• Apply products in accordance with label guidelines and Florida BMPs

• Mix chemicals accurately and safely for application

• Provide commercial support to senior technician on large properties

• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members

• Track application records, service notes, and customer feedback

• Identify lawn, shrub, and pest issues and propose appropriate treatments

• Sell and grow residential routes through customer referrals and upselling

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in lawn care, fertilization, and/or pest control

• Ability to read and follow chemical labels and safety protocols

• Clean driving record and Florida Driver’s License

• Strong work ethic and accountability

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in Florida conditions

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience

• Commission-based sales structure after 3-month performance review

• Growth potential as residential division expands

Preferred Qualifications:

• FDACS pest control license or willingness to obtain

• Residential customer service experience

• Familiarity with Florida turf, ornamental plants, and pests
