Overview

Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Tampa, FL , is seeking a Staff Accountant to support its expanding operations. This is a new position created due to company growth—ideal for a candidate with at least 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment . The role offers strong advancement potential as the company scales both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis
  

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  

• Prepare profit and loss statements and expense reports
  

• Manage entries and reconciliations in the general ledger
  

• Support project costing and inventory/manufacturing accounting including bill-of-materials
  

• Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the accounting function
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university
  

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including the use of pivot tables and advanced functions
  

• Experience with ERP or MRP systems ; experience with Acumatica preferred
