AutoCAD Operator
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Operator to support their facilities infrastructure operations for a large, dynamic environment. Summary: This role is responsible for producing, updating, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and documentation related to buildings, utilities, renovations, and capital improvement projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where drawings and maps function as -living documents- and require continuous updates to reflect ongoing growth and modifications. Duties Include:
- Create, edit, and maintain technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Update and manage digital floor plans, structural drawings, and site documentation
- Maintain underground utility maps and coordinate documentation with third-party utility locate vendors
- Support renovation and new construction projects by updating as-built drawings
- Serve as a documentation repository manager for structural and infrastructure plans
- Ensure all drawings align with organizational standards and version control practices
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, maintenance teams, and contractors
- Balance drafting responsibilities with facilities data and document management
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
