Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our properties, ensuring a positive living experience for residents. This full-time position offers a stable Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, supporting work-life balance. Responsibilities

• Perform general building and grounds maintenance to uphold property standards.
• Complete routine and preventative maintenance work orders as assigned.
• Conduct pressure cleaning throughout the community to maintain cleanliness.
• Carry out interior and exterior painting and touch-up work.
• Perform light plumbing repairs and replace fixtures as needed.
• Handle light carpentry repairs and installations.
• Assist with light concrete restoration and stucco repairs.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor electrical repairs, including lighting replacement.
• Maintain landscaping using hand and power tools.
• Clean common areas and assist with janitorial duties.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain an organized maintenance shop and inventory of supplies.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from residents and management.
• Collaborate with team members and report directly to the Property Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in apartments, condominiums, HOA communities, commercial properties, or similar facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of general maintenance, landscaping, painting, pressure cleaning, light plumbing, light carpentry, light electrical work, light concrete restoration, and light stucco repairs.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• English communication skills required.
• Preferred: Experience with condominium or HOA maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, and basic troubleshooting of building systems.
