Receptionist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team in Hillsborough, North Carolina. This is a Contract position requiring exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth flow of operations. Responsibilities: - Greet and assist visitors in a welcoming and attentive manner. - Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and accurate responses. - Operate a switchboard with 1-10 phone lines to handle inquiries efficiently. - Direct inbound calls to the appropriate departments or personnel. - Maintain the front desk area by keeping it organized and presentable. - Provide accurate information about services and direct visitors as needed. - Handle part-time receptionist duties with flexibility and reliability. - Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication across departments. - Assist with basic administrative tasks as required. Requirements - Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role. - Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Detail-oriented demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with basic administrative procedures. - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Availability to work part-time on a flexible schedule.
