Business Analyst III
Contingent Upon Contract Award OTA is seeking a Business Analyst III to serve as a senior-level analyst responsible for conducting advanced business process analysis and providing insights to drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness. This role partners with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, supports strategic initiatives, and develops performance metrics to measure success. The Business Analyst III may lead small teams or projects and plays a critical role in shaping recommendations that align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct complex business process analysis to identify areas for efficiency, cost savings, and performance improvements.
- Support strategic initiatives by gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements.
- Prepare clear, data-driven recommendations and present findings to leadership.
- Develop and track performance metrics to assess effectiveness of implemented solutions.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to deliver process improvement projects.
- Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the advancement of best practices in business analysis.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- 6–8 years of professional experience in business analysis, process improvement, or related field
- Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks, methodologies, and tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience leading small teams or managing projects
- Certification in business analysis or process improvement (e.g., CBAP, Lean Six Sigma)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Master’s, advanced degree, or additional professional certifications preferred
