New Patient Scheduler
LifeWorks Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and sales-driven New Patient Scheduler to join our expanding team. This role is vital in supporting new patients as they begin their journey with our clinic. The ideal candidate will deliver an exceptional first impression, ensure a smooth scheduling experience, and clearly communicate next steps to patients seeking holistic and integrative medical care. LifeWorks Wellness Center is the largest integrative medicine practice in the U.S. and Florida’s leading natural health clinic. We proudly provide patients with alternative medical doctors who treat a wide range of chronic health conditions naturally. Individuals travel from all over the world to receive our life-changing holistic treatment programs. Key Responsibilities
- Create a warm, welcoming, and positive first experience for every new patient through compassionate communication and supportive guidance.
- Answer all new patient questions related to scheduling, visit expectations, and practitioner information.
- Return calls to patients requesting appointments or seeking additional information via phone, email, Facebook, or other channels.
- Ensure patients understand expectations and requirements for becoming a new patient.
- Schedule initial office visits and collect payment during scheduling.
- Send new patient paperwork and ensure completion prior to the appointment.
- Reschedule patients who need to cancel or modify their appointment.
- Document all conversations, actions, and follow-ups accurately in the patient record.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience or 2 years of call center experience.
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to type at least 40 WPM with intermediate computer proficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in patient scheduling, healthcare support, or medical office administration preferred
- Experience working in a patient-facing or customer service–driven role
- Strong ability to learn scheduling systems, workflows, and communication protocols
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate communication style with the ability to support patients during decision-making
Must speak English fluently and possess strong interactive communication skills that help new patients feel heard, supported, and at ease during their first touchpoint with the clinic. Physical Demands of Position
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:
- Sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or phone
- Maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced environment
- Sustain a professional and empathetic demeanor when speaking with individuals seeking care
• Full-time, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Monday through Friday Compensation: $25 per hour Benefits:
