HR Generalist

Kforce has a client that is seeking a HR Generalist in Tampa, FL. Summary: We're partnering with a growing organization seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, hands-on environment where every day is different. The company operates with an in-house HR team, allowing you to gain exposure across multiple HR functions while working closely with senior HR leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in payroll and benefits administration, while also supporting employee relations, onboarding, compliance, leave administration, and general HR operations. Key Responsibilities:

• HR Generalist will process payroll for approximately 400 employees across two entities
• Administer employee benefits, including enrollments and employee questions
• Manage leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, and other employee leaves
• Support employee onboarding and orientation
• Assist with employee relations and HR policy questions
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data
• As a HR Generalist, you will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Assist with recruiting activities as needed
• Support performance management initiatives and other HR projects
• Partner closely with HR leadership to provide exceptional employee support
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred; Equivalent experience will be considered
• 3+ years of Human Resources experience
• Strong experience with payroll processing and benefits administration
• Experience administering FMLA, ADA, and employee leave programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with UKG or another HRIS system is a plus
