Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards- Conduct technical accounting research and provide recommendations- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial management initiatives- Prepare and analyze financial data for forecasting and budgeting purposes- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts- Support external auditors during annual audits
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field)- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software- Proficient in financial analysis and reporting- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis- Strong organizational and time management skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment- Prior experience in public accounting is a plus
