A/R Manager POST NUMBER: 474835
Location: Clearwater, FL (onsite Monday–Thursday, flexible Fridays)
Duration: Direct-hire Day to Day:
- Team leadership — manage and develop a team of 11 (including 2 supervisors), driving accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
- AR operations oversight — lead end-to-end receivables including customer onboarding, credit evaluation, collections, and cash application
- Credit & risk management — assess creditworthiness, set/adjust limits, manage holds/releases, and mitigate financial exposure
- Collections strategy — monitor aging, DSO, and collection effectiveness; resolve escalations and reduce past-due balances
- Cash application & reconciliation — ensure accurate and timely payment posting, resolve discrepancies, and support month-end close
- Reporting & analytics — deliver AR insights including aging, DSO trends, and bad debt; drive data-backed process improvements
- Systems & process improvement — act as SME for Oracle EBS and High Radius; identify automation and efficiency opportunities
- Cross-functional partnership — collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to support working capital and customer experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10 years of progressive accounts receivable experience, including at least 4 years managing supervisors or leading a multi-functional AR team
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or promotional products environment strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS (AR module) required; experience with High Radius or a comparable collections and cash application platform strongly preferred
