Job Title: Cyber Systems Security Engineer - Embedded Systems

Location: Orlando, FL

About the Role

As a Cyber Systems Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in securing Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems by designing and implementing embedded cybersecurity solutions. You will be part of the Program Protection Organization, which leads Anti-Tamper and embedded cybersecurity efforts across all Missiles and Fire Control programs.

We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in embedded systems security-not traditional ISSO/ISSM profiles. This role requires deep technical expertise in embedded cybersecurity implementation and mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded System Security Engineering (SSE) solutions for DoD Weapon Systems.
• Assess and mitigate cybersecurity threats and risks throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Decompose and validate system security requirements for embedded platforms.
• Develop and deploy secure hardware and software architectures.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis and threat modeling on product designs.
• Prototype and test countermeasures to defend against cyber-attacks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure secure product development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Cybersecurity Experience: 2-4 years
• Engineering Experience: 2-4 years
• Embedded Systems Experience: 1-2 years
• Risk Management Framework (RMF): 1-2 years
• System Security Implementation: 1-2 years

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Systems Engineering
• Software Development experience
• Requirements Analysis expertise
• Familiarity with DoD Weapon System Cybersecurity
• Vulnerability Analysis and Threat Assessment skills
