JOB TITLE: Cable Assembler

LOCATION: Clearwater, FL

PAY RATE: Up to $22/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: 4/10 1st Shift (Monday Thursday, 5:00 AM 3:30 PM)

Summary:

• Assemble cable harnesses using hand tools to strip, crimp, and terminate copper and coaxial wires

• Solder a variety of electrical connections with precision

• Follow written instructions, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams

• Inspect assemblies and connections for quality and accuracy

• Work with tolerances and understand specifications like minimum and maximum lengths

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Communicate effectively in English (reading and writing)

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience with or certification in IPC 610/620

• 1+ year of cable assembly and soldering experience

• Familiarity with reading technical prints and identifying critical features

• Understanding of tolerances and quality control standards

• Mechanical hobbies or background is a strong plus

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
