Contract Senior Developer, Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint
Term of contract:12 Months
Location: Onsite preferred at our headquarters in Weston FL. Hybrid is also available
Hours: Full-time; Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30PM
Availability: Requires On-call and after-hours business support as needed Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement custom low-code business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform Suite (Power Apps, Power Automate) and SharePoint Online
- Streamline, standardize, and automate business processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Apply Power Apps with an in-depth understanding of customization, configuration, integration, and extensibility, as well as boundaries and constraints.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
- Use a security-first proactive approach to development ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of solutions and data.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
- Provide technical support, SOP documentation, and training to users.
- Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features, best practices, and trends.
- Be efficient with escalating and resolving issues via the Microsoft Support team.
Minimum
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role implement Enterprise automation solutions with Microsoft Power Platform and PowerPoint Online.
- Experience with other M365 services (Entra, Teams, Power BI, CoPilot, and Dataverse).
- Experience customizing and optimizing UI to support multi-devices (Phone, Tablet, and PC).
- Experience and proficiency with scripting and programming (PowerShell, JSON)
- Experience using Microsoft App Insights to enhance performance, reliability, and quality.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in Microsoft technologies.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and for creating appropriate process documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Microsoft Certifications (i.e. Power Platform Developer Associate, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Power Platform environments, and Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Background in M365 Security and compliance features with knowledge of configuring SharePoint and Teams
- Experience implementing security and development best practices using Entra ID and M365 services
- Experience in PowerShell scripting and PnP provisioning for SharePoint Online and M365 services
- Knowledge of Power Platform/SharePoint Online specific languages like PowerFx, SPFx and strong programming skills using other languages like C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ASP, versioning via DevOps
