PAD Administrative Assistant
Assist with the Secretarial duties – Emails, calls, communication with Clubs, assisting them with events, questions about their Clubs. Help prep for events – registration, packing, loading, unloading, check in, background checks, follow up with Clubs, confirming payments, develop an understanding and working knowledge of YMMS (Club management software). Work with secretarial team to accomplish larger tasks.

Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
- Knowledge of principles, policies, and beliefs of the Florida Conference and the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate (verbal and written) in English with vendors, co-workers, visitors, and management.
- Knowledge and proven skills in office procedures and equipment such as computer software (e.g., Word for Windows; Lotus or Excel spreadsheets), data entry, filing, telephone techniques, and English usage (spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.).
- Ability to perform basic office duties with high accuracy and acceptable speed.
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform all job duties with minimum supervision; ability to work under pressure and with many interruptions.
- Ability to foster communication among departmental staff, employees from other departments and outside personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Appropriate successful work experience may be acceptable in lieu of scholastic requirements.
- Two or more years applicable office experience are preferred to gain the skills and knowledge required to perform job duties.
Job Responsibilities:

- Able to work alone and to work cooperatively in a team setting.
- Provide general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mail distribution, shipping, scanning, and filing for the department/store.
- Cordially greet visitors and answer phones promptly using good judgment in resolving issues within role’s scope, briefly screening, and directing calls to the appropriate person(s) or departments and prioritizing the distribution of messages in a timely manner.
- Prepare written correspondence to various inquiries and requests internally and externally; create, edit and modify documents utilizing Microsoft Office Software in a timely manner.
