Parks Maintenance Technician
Location: Melbourne, FL
Status: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $17.52/hour
Available Schedules:
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Tuesday–Saturday
- 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Sunday–Thursday
About the Role:
Join our team and help maintain the stunning parks and outdoor spaces of Florida’s Space Coast! As a Parks Maintenance Technician, you’ll support the upkeep of grounds, facilities, and public areas to ensure our parks remain safe, clean, and enjoyable for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general care and maintenance of park buildings, grounds, and facilities
• Cut and edge grass; operate hand and power tools
• Sweep walkways, remove trash, and clean restrooms, picnic, and camping areas
• Assist with skilled trades such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic repairs or installations
• Load and unload heavy materials and equipment
• Perform other related duties as required
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 months combined experience in grounds and building maintenance
- Experience in mechanical or equipment repair preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- 3 months of Landscaping or Maintenance experience.
- Must submit to background screening
- Drug-Free Workplace
