Human Resource Associate

We are searching for a highly organized, detail oriented, and motivated Human Resource Associate to maintain the daily HR functions of employee on-boarding, assisting employees with benefits, and certifications, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The perfect candidate should have a foundation in Human Resources, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and flexibility to handle last-minute tasks.

Responsibilities:

· Manage employee on-boarding

· Maintain accurate digital and physical employee records

· Timely processing of payroll, government reports, and vehicle registration renewals

· Maintain internal rosters

· Assist employees with and maintain accuracy of benefit and retirement enrollments

· Support upper management with correspondence and other tasks

· Manage electronic & physical communications with employees

· Maintain employee security clearances and expiring certifications

· Respond appropriately and timely to internal and external requests

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations

· Other tasks as requested by management

Qualifications:

· 2-5 years experience in a Human Resources role

· Payroll processing experience

· Ability to stay focused and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy and efficiency

· Discretion and confidentiality a must with employee and company information

· Courteous, professional manner with all levels within the organization

· Computer literacy, proficient communication skills, Excel & Word

· Assist with maintaining a positive workplace culture

Preferred Skills:

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

· Experience within transportation industry

· Familiarity with worker’s comp and other insurances
