Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Project Leadership:  Lead large-scale commercial mechanical projects from submittals through final walkthrough.
• Budget & Financial Oversight:  Manage project costs, labor allocation, and change orders to ensure profitability.
• Team Coordination:  Directly coordinate with field supervisors and subcontractors, ensuring work meets Florida Building Codes and safety standards and budgets.
• Vendor & Client Liaison:  Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and act as the primary point of contact for the general contractors we work with in the Tampa Bay area.
• Logistics & Scheduling:  Utilize project management software to track milestones and ensure on-time delivery despite the unpredictable availability of some materials and job site restrictions.

Qualifications

• Experience:  Minimum 5+ years in HVAC project management, specifically within the commercial sector.
• Technical Expertise:  Strong knowledge of systems in excess of 5 tons, including chillers, RTUs, cooling towers and building automation.
• Local Knowledge:  Must have a valid Florida driver's license and a clean criminal record for site visits across the Tampa Bay area including hospitals, schools and military bases.
• Personal Touch:  Excellent communication skills—you’ll be representing a family brand built on trust and personal service.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary:  $85,000 – $110,000+ (Based on experience).
