SHINE Liaison Assistant
- Accurately completes and inputs SHINE Beneficiary Contact, Group and Media Outreach Education Events and other reporting forms to assure continued funding.
- Openly communicates with local program volunteers on behalf of leadership as needed.
- Schedules counseling site availability per counselor and communicates said schedule.
- Assists with monthly programmatic reports.
- Attends and completes all required SHINE training, as scheduled by the Department of Elder Affairs.
- Participation in routine local training (quarterly or monthly).
- Completes office management tasks at the direction of the Liaison and/or Director of Programs and Planning.
- Boxes and organizes prior-year reports for transfer to off-site storage.
- Prepares Travel Reimbursement forms for Volunteer and Staff for attendance to conferences/events for reimbursement.
- Maintains an accurate and up-to-date volunteer list.
- Monitors and maintains supply inventory; initiates orders when supplies are low.
- Tracks SHINE staff and volunteer background screening renewal dates and coordinates required paperwork for timely renewals.
Experience - Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar program or social services agency. Experience with Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Work experience with the senior population is preferred. Training – High school diploma. LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Valid Florida driver’s license is required. Must be able to pass Level II Background Screening. SALARY RANGE: $23,400 – $26,520
