General Manager - Marcos Pizza

Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fast-paced, quick service restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring efficient food preparation, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Duties:
- Supervise daily operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the restaurant.
- Manage staff performance, including hiring, training, and scheduling employees.
- Oversee food preparation processes to guarantee quality and safety standards are met.
- Handle cash management procedures, including daily deposits and financial reporting.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff.
- Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain a high level of service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the quick-service fast-food restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Experience with cash handling procedures and financial management.
- Background in hospitality management or food service management is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Above is a good starting place, but we expect you to learn our systems quickly within a few short weeks dependent on your abilities exhibited. We do not expect you to come in and start without a very good training regime. That is what we will give the lucky candidate.
