Entry Level Safety Member - BWY
Job Summary
OneTouch Direct is looking for an Entry Level Safety Member who is enthusiastic about maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees and visitors. In this role, you will assist in monitoring safety protocols, responding to potential hazards, and supporting the overall safety efforts of the organization. This position is a great opportunity to start a career in safety and security.
Monday - Friday: 9:30am - 6:30pm
$15/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily safety inspections and hazard assessments of the facility.
- Monitor and report any unsafe conditions or behaviors to the supervisory team.
- Help enforce safety protocols and procedures among staff and visitors.
- Participate in safety training sessions and uphold compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in emergency response actions.
- Provide assistance as needed during safety drills and emergency preparedness activities.
- Engage with employees and visitors, fostering a culture of safety awareness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Interest in safety, security, or related fields.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and participate in safety training programs.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
