Accounts Payable Manager

education: Bachelors Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the AP staff, ensuring daily tasks are completed accurately and deadlines (like month-end close) are met.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current AP workflows and implement "best practice" enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Disbursement Management: Manage weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Vendor Relations: Resolve high-level escalated discrepancies and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure 1099 maintenance, sales and use tax compliance, and provide detailed aging reports to the Controller.
- Audit Support: Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
