Base pay range
$45,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr
Employment Opportunity - Litigation Legal Assistant
This is a 100% remote, full-time Legal Assistant position with a small but growing insurance defense litigation firm. We view legal assistants as critical members of our team who support our attorneys and our client relationships. Candidate must live in Florida.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating case management software
- Calendar and diary entries of litigation deadlines
- Scheduling depositions, hearings, mediations, conferences and other matters
- Drafting correspondence and limited discovery documents
- Overseeing non-party production and maintaining logs
- E-filing and e-service
- Client and adjuster communications
- Other administrative support
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a litigation legal assistant
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe applications
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
