POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides patient centered, specialized, evidence based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment, research, education and advocacy. Contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team, is responsible for patient outcomes which meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH. The professional practice of nursing at JHACH involves the promotion of a culture of innovation and a commitment to academic growth and professional development.

Location: Lakeland, FL (with 50% travel to Tampa, Brandon, Wesley Chapel and St. Petersburg, FL)
Work Hours: 40 hrs per week (M-F)

Who Should Apply:

• BSN from an accredited School of Nursing

• Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required

• A minimum of three years of experience working as an RN in an acute care setting

• BLS certification provided by AHA

• Ability to obtain a certification within 1 year in an area of specialty

Salary Range: Minimum 45.04/hour - Maximum 69.81/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
