Location:  Panama City, FL

Schedule: 20 hours/week, part-time, flexible schedule Monday–Friday

Pay:  $38–$44/hour DOE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Panama City on a part-time basis. This role offers flexible scheduling (Monday–Friday) and involves providing direct patient care, administering treatments, assisting with procedures, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, IV starts, phlebotomy, and monitoring patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Apply knowledge of medical coding and common prescription medications in patient care.
• Operate medical equipment and ensure proper infection control and safety protocols.
• Support smooth clinic operations through organizational and administrative duties.

Requirements / Skills:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (RN).
• 1+ years of clinical nursing or medical assisting experience preferred.
• CPR certification required; IV Start and Phlebotomy certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, medical terminology, and medical coding.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in a medical setting.

* Assist in operations, under the supervision of surgeons. May, in accordance with state laws, help surgeons to make incisions and close surgical sites, manipulate or remove tissues, implant surgical devices or drains, suction the surgical site, place catheters, clamp or cauterize vessels or tissue, and apply dressings to surgical site.
* Verify the identity of patient or operative site.
* Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.
* Cover patients with surgical drapes to create and maintain a sterile operative field.
* Coordinate or participate in the positioning of patients, using body stabilizing equipment or protective padding to provide appropriate exposure for the procedure or to protect against nerve damage or circulation impairment.
