Estate Facilities & Property Manager
An ultra-high-net-worth family in Naples, Florida is seeking a highly capable, hands-on Facilities & Property Manager to oversee the maintenance, operations, and overall care of their private residence.
This individual will play a key role in ensuring the property and all systems are maintained to the highest standards, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. This is a hands-on role that combines vendor oversight with light maintenance and troubleshooting; it is not a purely administrative position.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, with flexibility based on household needs
- On-call every other weekend for urgent property matters
Position Overview
The Facilities / Property Manager will oversee all aspects of the home's physical operations, including preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, system monitoring, and general property upkeep. The role requires someone organized, dependable, and able to communicate effectively with household staff, vendors, and management.
Key Responsibilities
Property & Systems Management
- Oversee daily maintenance and operational needs of a luxury private residence
- Monitor and maintain all major property systems including HVAC, pool equipment, plumbing, electrical, and irrigation
- Conduct routine property inspections and proactively identify maintenance needs
- Maintain the property to luxury, hotel-level standards at all times
Hands-On Maintenance
- Perform light maintenance and basic troubleshooting where appropriate
- Address minor repairs promptly and efficiently
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies required for property upkeep
Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate and oversee outside contractors and service providers (pool, HVAC, landscaping, specialty vendors)
- Schedule preventative maintenance and ensure timely, high-quality execution
- Maintain strong relationships with trusted local vendors
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with household staff to support smooth daily operations
- Maintain a respectful, cooperative, and team-oriented environment
- Support additional property needs as required
Communication & Organization
- Provide clear and professional communication regarding property updates and needs
- Maintain records of maintenance, vendors, and service history
- Communicate effectively via email and written updates
Requirements
Experience as a Facilities Manager, Property Manager, or Estate Manager in a residential or estate setting preferred
Experience working in private homes or with high-net-worth individuals strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, pool systems, electrical, plumbing, and irrigation
Comfortable with hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
