The Opportunity:
  eCapital is seeking a Director of Product Management to define the strategic vision and roadmap for groundbreaking fintech initiatives. This senior-level role will lead the creation and advancement of new product domains, potentially redefining existing industry categories and driving significant industry shifts.

As a Director, you will manage both the strategic direction (business and technology) and development of a major service or substantial portfolio of externally offered products. You will collaborate with multiple development teams and partner closely with account teams and a diverse range of external customers, from startups to enterprise-level organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for strategic fintech products and service initiatives, influencing broader industry shifts.
• Engage deeply with external customers at all levels, influencing customer engineering practices, technology roadmap decisions, and long-term strategic alignments.
• Manage and accelerate growth of P&L.
• Own strategic service initiatives, from defining value propositions to delivering business performance metrics aligned with executive objectives.
• Drive joint and cross-organizational launches, strategic partnerships, and sustained product adoption and performance.
• Manage highly complex product scenarios, own service dependencies, and handle escalations and critical incidents.
• Drive strategic industry communications, analyst relations, and major product launch strategies.
• Evaluate strategic business and technology decisions, including M&A considerations, partnerships, and long-term technology investments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in product management, including 5+ years leading technical product development.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional product initiatives.
• Deep expertise in SaaS architectures, API integrations, cloud platforms, and scalable system designs.
• Exceptional ability to articulate strategic visions and technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven track record influencing industry-wide shifts and executive-level decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years in fintech, lending technology, or financial services.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in embedded finance, lending platforms, and financial data analytics.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in financial services.
• Experience leading agile product development teams and methodologies.
• Background in leveraging AI and machine learning products.
• Proven history of launching successful products that significantly enhance business growth.
