Join Our Law Firm as an Administrative Assistant!

Location: Brandon, Florida

Position: Part-time, Entry-Level (In-Office) (10 am - 3 pm with 30 minutes for lunch)

We are a growing law firm specializing in real estate, litigation, and transactional work, looking for a proactive in-office Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This part-time position is great for moms with school age kids, someone going back to school that can work 10-3, someone who just wants to work part-time, etc.

We need a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and return calls promptly.
• Communicate with clients, providing updates and support.
• Set up and maintain client files (CosmoLex & paper).
• Scan, copy, and upload documents.
• Track deadlines and keep attorneys informed.
• Manage and confirm appointments.
• Type correspondence and legal documents.
• Process incoming mail and facilitate e-filing.
• Provide support to attorneys and paralegals.
• Maintain reliable in-office attendance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in a professional setting.
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Professional demeanor in person and on the phone.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $15/hour (based on experience).
• Probation: 90-day period with salary review and benefits eligibility afterward.
