POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will serve as the conduit for initiatives related to pediatric wound care that support an integrated and collaborative action plan that demonstrates compliance with regulatory requirements and clinical quality programs. In support of professional nursing practice, the RN Wound Care Nurse facilitates the provision of patient centered, specialized, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment, research, education and advocacy. This position contributes to the goals of Nursing and Patient Care Services by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team, this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH. The professional practice of nursing at JHACH involves the promotion of a culture of innovation and a commitment to academic growth and professional development.

Work Hours: M-F (8a-5)

Who Should Apply:

• BSN from an accredited School of Nursing

• Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State required

• A minimum of 3 years pediatric nursing practice required

• Professional nursing certification required

• BLS certification provided by AHA

• Wound care experience preferred

• Must obtain Wound Care Nurse cerfication within 3 years of hire (CWCN, COCN, CWON)

Salary Range: Minimum 40.95/hour - Maximum 63.46/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
