Position Details
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or four 10-hour shifts
Setting: Private Physical Therapy Outpatient Practice
EMR System: WebPT
Patient Volume: 1 patient per hour
Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 per year
Job Summary
We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for a private outpatient clinic in Plantation with a schedule of 1 patient per hour . This role is ideal for a PTA who wants a structured workday and the opportunity to help patients move through treatment with steady support and direct clinical guidance.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans under the direction of the Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through prescribed exercise and functional activities
- Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the PT
- Reinforce home programs and treatment instructions
- Complete timely and accurate charting in WebPT
- Support a smooth and professional patient experience during each visit
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Current CPR certification
- Prior outpatient experience preferred
- Comfort with WebPT or similar EMR systems
