We’re searching for a skilled Veterinary Technician with experience in ICU and hospital nursing care. Ideal candidates are confident managing critical patients, monitoring hospitalized cases, administering treatments and medications, and thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience in urgent care, specialty medicine, and advanced patient care is highly valued. WPVH is a 7-day-a-week, 10-doctor practice caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, exotics, birds, and small mammals. We’re known for our advanced services and the Gentle Pet Approach, prioritizing both our patients’ and team’s well-being. Our facilities include a main hospital and a separate Wellness Center, plus we offer boarding and a Doggie Play Camp.

Here’s a snapshot of our advanced services:

• CT scans, advanced surgery, and dentistry
• Laser therapy, hospitalization, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine
• Comprehensive diagnostics, including ultrasound and digital radiology

For over 25 years, we’ve proudly served as the primary veterinary provider for the Florida Audubon Society and care for animals from Central Florida’s major theme parks.

All candidates must be able to lift animals (with assistance for larger patients) and be comfortable sitting on the floor or squatting for treatment.
