Driver CDL A - Walking Floor Trailer Experience

WTL is seeking a responsible and experienced Class A CDL Driver with walking floor trailer experience to join its team. Responsibilities

• Safely transport horticulture material, logs, and municipal solid waste (MSW) to and from customer locations using a Mack day cab with a walking floor trailer.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections at the start and end of each shift.
• Load and unload products at customer sites and company facilities as required.
• Follow all company safety procedures and comply with relevant transportation regulations.
• Accurately complete required documentation, including Bill of Ladings and Inspection Reports.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers, representing the company positively at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Class A Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• At least 25 years of age.
• Experience operating walking floor trailers.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage long hours as needed.
• Familiarity with local roads and a strong work ethic.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Lowboy trailer experience is a plus.
