We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee field operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Position Summary
The Lead Superintendent is responsible for managing day-to-day construction site activities, leading field teams, and coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders. This role requires a strong leader who can balance technical expertise with people management to drive successful project delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Field Leadership: Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor to achieve milestones.
- Quality Control: Enforce quality standards, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
- Safety Management: Promote and enforce a culture of safety on site; ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Communication: Act as the primary on-site liaison between field teams, project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Identify issues proactively and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and records of site activities.
- Team Development: Mentor and guide superintendents, foremen, and field staff to ensure professional growth and consistent performance.

- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and field operations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, teams, and stakeholders.

- Problem-Solving: Quick decision-maker with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
- Track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial, multifamily, or industrial projects.
- Proficiency with construction scheduling software, MS Office Suite, and project management tools.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (experience may substitute).
