Job Summary

This individual will be responsible for assisting with the successful operation of the food service department in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily administrative and operational tasks: catering, retail, and additional work in patient services/culinary
• Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches associates
• Oversees sanitation and safety of assigned unit(s)
• Assists with cost control management for the account
• Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client as well as other departments
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• MUST HAVE experience in acute care food service operations/management
• Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate with management, client, customer and associate levels.
• Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
