Where you'll be working:
Location(s): Tampa Bay Area, Florida
Setting: Community-Based Adult Services (No Clinic)
Population Served: Adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities receiving Medicaid Waiver services
Years in Operation: Founded in 2022
What You’ll Actually Be Doing (aka no surprises later):
- Provide behavior analytic services to adults with developmental disabilities in community, residential, and day program settings
- Conduct assessments, develop behavior support plans, and collaborate with caregivers, support coordinators, and provider agencies
- Deliver both direct and indirect clinical services, including training, consultation, documentation, and treatment planning
- Participate in an intensive mentorship and onboarding process designed to gradually build clinical independence and confidence
- Work alongside a clinician-led team focused on assent-based care, least restrictive practices, and meaningful quality-of-life outcomes
- Help shape the future of adult ABA services in a rapidly growing organization committed to developing the next generation of behavior analysts
Caseload & Support Transparency (because details matter):
Caseload size: Typically 13–15 clients, though service hours per client are substantially lower than traditional pediatric ABA (approximately 12 service hours per month per individual)
Billable hour expectations: 24–25 hours per week
Support Structure:
- Structured 3-, 6-, 9-, and 12-month onboarding process
- Monthly cohort meetings with case reviews and journal discussions
- Individualized mentorship and clinical consultation
- Field-based collaboration opportunities
Compensation & Perks (real ones):
Base salary: $60–$65 per hour starting rate
Bonus structure: Structured performance-based pay increases at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months, with continued advancement opportunities through year two and beyond
Time-off: BCBA's create and manage their own schedules and are welcome to take time off as needed
Health benefits: Not currently offered
CEU support: Free in-house CEUs provided by an ACE Provider
Supervision/mentorship provided: Extensive mentorship, onboarding, case consultation, and leadership development opportunities
Schedule flexibility / remote options: Flexible scheduling with community-based service delivery
