Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $32 - $32 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Shop Supervisor:

• Direct and supervise a crew of 8–12 members
• Manage all aspects of department operations, ensuring goals for safety, quality, productivity, and delivery are met
• Improve efficiency, quality, and cost control
• Assign work duties and maintain production schedules
• Plan labor and workspace requirements for optimal workflow
• Oversee maintenance of operating equipment
• Schedule daily pick-ups and deliveries
• Follow budget and production planning requirements
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance
• Ensure compliance with fabrication standards and company procedures

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have own tools
• Minimum 10 years in fabrication/welding, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role within a fabrication shop
• Experience in piping projects and commercial fabrication required
• In-depth knowledge of GMAW, SMAW, and FCAW applications
• Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and technical manuals
• Familiar with standard fabrication concepts and ASME code requirements
• Experience in cargo tank inspections and inspection procedures
• Skilled in material takeoffs and ordering materials for new jobs
• Strong understanding of fabrication/welding quality control procedures
• Excellent people skills, with the ability to delegate and communicate effectively with both team members and leadership
• Drug screening required
