Technical Product Support and Order Specialist

Randstad is recruiting a Technical Product Support & Order Specialist for a well-established, growing manufacturer of specialized industrial pump and fluid-handling systems.

This role bridges high-touch customer support with technical order management. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will handle inquiries from commercial end-users, dealers, distributors, and OEMs. If you have a background in pumps, fluid management, mechanical components, or technical hardware—and enjoy helping customers find the right product solutions—this is an ideal opportunity.

salary: $42,000 - $46,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Communications: Handle multi-channel support across live calls (inbound/outbound), email, web forms, and live chat with speed and accuracy.

• Order Entry & Processing: Accurately generate quotes, process orders, and manage payment and shipping details through POS, CRM, and ERP systems.

• Technical Guidance: Build strong product knowledge to assist buyers with selection, basic troubleshooting, warranty updates, and application advice.

• Issue Resolution: Take complete ownership of customer inquiries from initial contact through order completion.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of technical customer service, inside sales, order entry, or sales support.

• Industry Background: Prior experience dealing with industrial pumps, fluid mechanics, valve systems, or technical hardware products.

• High-Tempo Execution: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, phone lines, and order queues in a fast-paced setting.

• Systems & Software: Comfortable using business software on Microsoft and Apple devices, along with CRM, ERP, and POS entry systems. Touch typing skills are a plus.

• Key Traits: Punctual, detail-oriented, and team-focused with strong verbal and written communication.
