Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America’s first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table. We are America’s first and only producer of certified organic sugar, grown and harvested in the United States. Our renewable energy facility is the largest of its kind in North America and provides clean energy that powers our sugar operations, which helps us reduce our use of fossil fuels. OVERVIEW

As a Tireman at Sugar Farms Co-Op Ag Shop, you play a vital role in supporting both our service station and agricultural customers. Your primary focus will be the repair, installation, and maintenance of tires for a variety of agricultural vehicles and equipment, ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely throughout every season.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug screening
• Inspect, repair, and replace tires on tractors, combines, trucks, trailers, and other agricultural equipment, both in the shop and on-site in the field as needed.
• Diagnose tire wear and damage, recommend appropriate solutions, and communicate findings to customers and supervisors.
• Perform tire balancing, patching, tube installation, rim cleaning, and valve stem replacements.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tire stock, supplies, and tools; assist in ordering and restocking as required.
• Operate tire changing and balancing machines, hydraulic lifts, and other shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of tires, wheels, and related equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the safe handling of heavy tires and tools.
• Provide courteous, knowledgeable assistance to customers and staff, offering advice on tire care and maintenance.
• Document work performed, maintain service records, and report any issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma preferred but not required
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
