HR Operations Specialist

IDR is seeking a HR Operations Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in West Palm Beach, FL. In this role, you will support U.S. HR Operations by processing high-volume HR transactions and resolving employee inquiries using Workday and a case management platform. This is a hands-on position within a large, fast-paced organization (example industry: financial services) focused on delivering accurate, timely, and customer-centered HR operational support.

Position Overview for the HR Operations Specialist:

• Execute high-volume Tier 1 Workday Core HCM transactions supporting employee lifecycle activities (data updates, job/organization changes, and related processes)
• Manage and resolve Tier 2/Tier 3 HR cases, including researching issues, coordinating with partners, and driving timely resolution
• Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy, policy compliance, and successful completion of HR business processes
• Partner cross-functionally with Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HR Technology, and HR Business Partners to investigate exceptions and complex issues
• Contribute to operational excellence through process improvements, documentation/knowledge articles, and participation in UAT and system enhancements

Requirements for the HR Operations Specialist:

• 5+ years of progressive HR Operations experience supporting employee lifecycle processes
• Hands-on experience processing HR transactions in Workday Core HCM
• Experience managing employee cases using ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) or a comparable HR case management platform
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate transactions and maintain data integrity across HR systems
• Proven ability to independently manage complex cases requiring research, analysis, stakeholder coordination, and clear employee communication
