Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician - $550-650k Salary (Miami)
Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a dedicated and board-certified (or board-eligible) Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our clients established private practice in South Florida. This is a non-delivery role focused on providing high-quality prenatal diagnostic services, ultrasound interpretation, and hospital consultations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with OB/GYNs and other providers to manage high-risk pregnancies without performing deliveries.
Pay:
$650k with bonus of up to $100K
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret OB/GYN ultrasounds, including detailed fetal anatomic surveys, biophysical profiles, and Doppler studies.
- Provide maternal-fetal consultations for high-risk pregnancies in both office and hospital settings.
- Round on hospitalized antepartum patients to provide consultative care and coordinate management with referring physicians.
- Develop individualized care plans and provide guidance on maternal and fetal complications.
- Collaborate closely with sonographers, genetic counselors, OB/GYNs, and nursing staff.
- Review and report findings through EMR; maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding risks, diagnostics, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Valid medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Florida.
- Proficient in ultrasound interpretation and management of complex pregnancies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in an outpatient MFM-focused practice.
- Skilled in supervising or collaborating with sonographers and office staff.
- Familiarity with hospital-based MFM consults without delivery involvement.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Outpatient office setting with access to advanced ultrasound technology.
- No delivery or surgical responsibilities.
- Rotating or set schedule for hospital rounds (consults only).
