Lead Veterinarian – St. Johns, FL

A full-service animal clinic in St. Johns is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to serve as the medical leader of the practice. This role is ideal for a veterinarian interested in guiding clinical teams, maintaining high standards of patient care, and contributing to the overall success of hospital operations while continuing to practice medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical exams, diagnostics, and treatment for companion animals

• Perform routine surgical and dental procedures

• Develop treatment plans and communicate care recommendations with clients

• Utilize in-house diagnostic and imaging equipment

• Maintain accurate medical records

• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent.

• Active or eligible veterinary license in Florida.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
