Senior Compliance Associate

Overview A leading aviation company seeks a motivated, detail-oriented Compliance Senior Associate to support the Legal & Compliance Department in ensuring regulatory and policy adherence. This role requires strong organizational skills and a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide guidance on compliance-related matters.
• Maintain and update compliance records, including training logs, certifications, and audit reports.
• Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports.
• Stay informed of changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in investigations of compliance issues and support the implementation of corrective measures.
• Provide training and support to employees on compliance policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Legal & Compliance Department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in compliance management or a similar role within the financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of Securities law, Fair Housing regulations, and financial auditing practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and the Bank Secrecy Act.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Professional certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is a plus.

Pay: $94,000.00 - $97,500.00 per year
